Help me identify this pin switch

Thank you for your replies. I am assuming that this switch is not factory.
The radio is stock, and the car has never had remote start, at least that I know of. The car had 2700 miles on it when I bought it. I really don't want to tear the interior apart to trace the wires, just curious what it might be for.

I was thinking about Dawson's reply and After doing some googling, I'm starting to think my car could have the remote start used with the factory key fob but if so, I don't now which remote start system and I don't have the instructions on how it works.

One other thought since I see your from Cali maybe the PO had some sort of exhaust cut out or maybe nitrous? Seeing as that is illegal in Cali maybe it was put there to not draw attention? Could be an alarm too places like Best Buy and some other installers put the switches in odd places. Best Buy did an alarm on my ranger and it was a mess. They tapped into some random places and wasnt the best install short of chasing the wires may be hard to find out what it does but it definitely looks aftermarket.
