Default update on big ol blue

Been busy lately and ive been sucked into world of warcraft too. But i have done alot of **** to the truck in the past month.

Well lets start with

an RV cam!! SO MUCH ****ING TORQUE!!! cant keep the tires from not spinnin.
and converted it to roller. Bought a slightly used cam kit off craigslist for $150. Anyone who doesnt know what a RV cam is... its for towing purposes. Like for a motorhome or tow truck.

I also have headers straight pipe dumped at axle. Yeah, its mighty loud. Sounds sick with the ruff idle from the cam too. and an engine dress-up kit. i have a 4bbl edelbrock intake and a 625cfm carb to put on it. i just need to rebuild the carb. Ive put a stereo in it (/w DVD player and a 3" LCD screen lol).

and thats pretty much it for the engine and stuff. I also cut the front springs. Yeah i know its dumb but the truck looks good lowered in the front. It has better steering response around the corners also.

All i can say, once i get the carb on there, it should be puttin out a good 350hp. It feels like 300hp right now. But the torque? dayem!! Its all there. i can be luggin 3rd gear at 25mph and step on it and i will be sideways in a split second. Also my buddy gave me a set of slicks. I'll need em for when i race when the track opens. I was havin traction problems on the stock motor so yeah they will come to good use lol.

And thats pretty much it... With the cam im gettin about 8mpg, i hope for better when i get the 4bbl or im gonna be screwed. But hey gas prices are going down lol.

Pics are a must. You probably won't see any mpg increase but hey, this thing is for fun anyway. Why not get a lowering kit? Safer than cutting.

cuz im a cheap ass. lol

I havent even seen it sit on level surface yet but it looks good right now. my driveway is at a slant. I have a bunch of **** in the back too that needs to be taken to the dump. Im doin that tomorrow. After i do that i'll snap some pics. And im puttin glasspacks on it friday. my buddy is give me his old ones from his 76 stepside cause hes steppin up to flows.

The no muffler exhaust is too loud, i love it! But the neighbors hate me. I have to shut the engine off when i enter the neighbor hood. i still need to tweak with the carb a bit from the cam. Not getting enough fuel i think But yeah, i dont think anything is wrong with cuttin the springs. Dont see how it could hurt anything. Its better then heating the springs up?

And this is my DD, not for fun. savin up for a gas saver. lookin at a 99 cougar 5spd, they want 1500 for it. Looks nice too.

So hopfully tomorrow i can have some pics up
