You used the same spray paint as me lol

Looks good so keep up the good work and swap the T-3 over if you can. Its able to make more power uptop than the IHI

the IHI will last longer under high loads tho, due to it being water cooled, which i believe the T3 wasn't. I would stay with the IHI, or look for a T3/T4 Hybrid.

Mine is garrett water cooled. From what I read IHI buildsboost faster but not a lot of boost starts builing heat instead of boost. The Garrett builds more psi but is slower to buld. But once get past a certain point both are bad don't know where that is. Like said only been into the 2.3 about 2 years now. Tbirds232ci could probably educate use all more on the subject. That is where the t3/t4 Garrett does better or get into the extreme Holset and other big diesel turbo's. Turboford.net. have several brand and combination of turbo's.

The T3 .60 (.63 to I think) are good till 300+ HP and 23 PSI. After that they really hold your system back and its time for a bigger turbo like a holset or something

Yes they do. Infact a lot of turbo forders are running them because they are cheap and make insane amounts of boost and power

Yes Holset will work but from what I read you have by that time Head has been opened up and lot of custom work done. These peole have MAF and megasquit tuning and programming there own fuel curves and etc. Starting out I would not leap that deep. I am still learning on mine and still not ready for that step.

The turbo is a t3...

Ok so anyways, todays progress, didnt get too much done bc i had to go to work, but starting to look like an engine..

put the new main seal in, lower intake mounted, valve cover on, dizzy in, injectors and fuel rail, crank pully, aux pully. Got my flywheel machined for friizle(free) thats about it.

BUT todays question is should i use the TC fuel rail, or 4cyl rail? this question came up as how i noticed that the fuel line connections are different, and the 4 cyl rail has some sort of vaccum thing, near the return line of the rail hard to explain see if i can get a pic..

the fuel rail you see there, the piece on the rail to the top, not the regulator but w.e that is, is not on the tc rail. also i think i need new fuel lines...
