I almost just died
If you read my last thread, you know that I gutted my intake. Shortly afterwards I went for a drive, and as I was coming home, a large, black Dodge Ram was cutting corners in my road's s-curves, and cam into my lane maybe 20-30 feet in front of me. I was going 40-45, and he must have been going a noticeable bit faster. Anyway, I had to swerve almost half of my car off the road, nearly hitting my neighbor's mailbox. If I hadn't swerved, his bumper would have met my face. I was shaking a bit when I got into my driveway about 20 seconds later.

i hate truck drivers, them and suv drivers need a special license. they think they rule the road or something. but yeah good thing u didn't get hit b/c the way are cars are built the engine would crush are legs. [:'(]

I do not agree with ALL suv's and trucks getting special license. I agree that a specific weight class should be required to have a special license to be driven. Oh, wait, we have that already.
The spectrum should be broadened, so that some of the biggest suv's/trucks may require it, but, i do not see it happening ever. If you feel very passionate about it, pursue this interest with your county gov.
There are plenty of small sized trucks (the ranger, the mazda 3300[?the mazda 'ranger'], chevy s-10's, et cetera)

i was talking about the big ones, i should have been more specific, no one needs a friggin 350 class vehicle unless u'r a mover or do construction. even the 250s are a little too big. of course it prob won't happen b/c it is a little unrealistic.
but i still stick by the fact that having larger vehicles on the road is unnecessary and dangerous, b/c even if they get into a reck on accident a compact car driver has a high chance of fatal injury.
