so i was driving the TC on a back road about 60mph whan all of a sudden, wham the hood flew open and smashed the sun roof, now im cut up to hell and bleeding like a pig, so i thought id share that with you guys, oh and btw anyone have a sun roof for sale, 30x14?

Just kidding. How did the hood smash the sun roof. Did it completely come off or something?

its not a scion it was my turbo coupe, and no it just bent back now i gotta find a hood and a sun roof and some bandaids

WOW! so how did the hood come unlatched?

neighbor backed into it one day so i opened the hood to check for damage and didnt relatch it and i dont drive it everyday so when it was out last night the hood was still unlatched,
and i took out the secondary latch because of the front mount intercooler

would it have come up if you had the secondary latch? or would have that held it?

He took the secondary latch out for the FMIC.

What we thunderbird guys do, is cut the bottom support off, leaving the area where the hood latches, and the two mounting bolts in tact.

i had hood pins on it before i put the new hood on i took em off to put the hood on and never put them back on, the night it flew open a few seconds before it happend i was saying to myself, "hey i should put the hood pins back on so the hood dont fly open one day" and sure enough
