Default What do you think it is worth?

Well after two years of not having my mustang I finally found one near by that is for sale. They guy is asking too much for it ($3000), so I just want to see what you guys think it is worth. I am thinking it is worth around $1500 - $1800. Also I am in Newfoundland, Canada, and cars are usually a bit more expensive here.

The Good:
-runs good, starts on the first turn
-the only rust I seen was on the transmission cross-member

The Bad
-The backrest to the drivers seat broken on the right side, so the seat is twisted
-The drivers door has a bend on the front, like it got hooked on the fender when it was closing
-The trim on the passenger door is missing
-The windshield wipers and washer does not work
-Power mirrors don't work
-Power locks don't work
-The A/C didn't get cold after a few minutes
-The clutch is bad
-The lock on the moon roof is broken. so it is either all opened or closed.
-There are a few paint chips that go down to the metal, but only rust in one of them.

Body looks good. But i bought my '93 with some rust on the front fender and a few dents in the hood, with all my power stuff working, for 900 so... I don't think it is worth the 3k at all. I think 1500 sounds good considering that they are more exspensive in Canada.

My 2 bits

Thanks, i don't think he is going to drop the price very much right now. So I guess I have to play the waiting game. I'm in no hurry.

I hate the waiting game, but I played it for a year looking for my '93. Worth it honestly. All the other factory 2.3 LX cars have been swapped to carborated 5.0's around here haha. One car i went to look at had the wiring harness still in the car but he had just cut the connectors off. I'd try to talk him down on the car though. Tell him that it has all these problems ect, and tell the guy you'd give him like 1500 cash.

It might work. Haha.
