Changing the pickup coil on my na having issues getting the shaft out ofthe distributor got the pin outta the gear but the gear wont come off... What am I doing wrong this is my daily driver and I need it outta the garage asap

You are going to want to find a gear puller of some sorts to get that off. Its usually pressed on that shaft pretty tight. Make sure when you put the new one on that you line the hole for the pin up well with the shaft or you will never get that pin back in.

Thnx for the help got it figured out right bfore u replied happy to have it runnin good again... I kno what u mean about the pin had to take it apart again cus the pick-up I got was bad luckily I got it down to a science five minutes for a complete dissy rebuild...
