Default Timing belt jumps

I was driving my car one day it just stopped. It then started making the infamous timing belt sound. I found that the timing belt was worn and replaced it. But when i hand cranked it twice to make sure it stayed aligned, it jumped teeth. I have replaced the tensioner and the spring and all gears are bolted down but it still jumps teeth.

The teeth are jumping from the auxiliary gear. The distributor gear is not missing any teeth. And I am not sure where to go from here.

I assume belt timing is correct. I am post just in case and also for anyone else that needs to know. This is for turbo engines and non turbo.

Is the auxiliary shaft easy to turn with the distributor out?
Is the distributor tight?
Next would be the oil pump. I had one lockup because of trash in the pan and stripped out the distributor center shaft.
Edit one thing I thought of. Maybe someone put a later model belt on it. There is 2 kinds of belts round tooth and square. I am unable to tell you really how to tell the difference. I would compare the timing belt to shape of pulleys. Maybe that would help. Maurice

Thanks. I didn't catch the upgraded gears. They are a round configuration. Works now!
