Well, onto the kit itself. Here's a description of the kit:
Our exclusive 55 watt high-output DIGITAL ballasts will offer 30-40% more light than the standard 35watt setup. require under 2A of current, and very low starting current for flawless plug and play operation!

Uh... Last time I checked, it's not possible to be running at 13.8 volts, draw under 2 Amps, and still be 55 Watts...

Watts = amps X volts...

13.8 X 2A doesn't equal 55...
I would guess its like the 100 watt compact fluorescent bulbs that actualy use 23-27 watts
correct me if I'm wrong but arn't HID's a form of fluorescent light
so more light per watt and less heat

is that what you got?? i dont see a choice of H13...
When i ordered, i didnt see the option either, so i emailed him directly at retrosolutions@***.net to see if he could get them in H13 application. So he did.

After clicking your link, i do see the H13 bixenon option....I hear Todd is inquiring about sponsorship status on here. So he will becoming in to answer any questions. (including the wattage question above). Regardless, this is definitely higher output than 35W kit. I've installed plenty of HID kits (including top brands like Hella, Philips, McCollough, etc) for locals and these by far beat them all in output per Kelvin rating.

What the heck, he has holiday pricing now. $180 shipped w/ lifetime.

Do they make these for the fogs as well? I think it'd look kinda funny having HID headlights and then regular crappy fogs..

the fogs are h10 right? yah, you can email him for a kit or on the site. But he recommended me the regular 35W kit for the fogs. I got the 3000k 35w digital for the expedition fogs.

Can I please ask why?

People seem to convert their cars to these crappy bulbs. I do allot of nite driving and the most anoying thing is the hid users. I am sorry but this is purely anoying.

these aren't your ricer replacement bulbs. its a whole ballast setup. The annoying ones are the ones who usually cant aim their headlights. but then again, you do NOTICE the HID users right? I want to be noticed at night primarily for safety reasons. i dont want anyone to sideswipe me or tunnel-vision me out. I could care less for what other drivers see or think as long as they know where i am and not hit me.

Also, another safety reason, to see better at night. You should really see the difference yourself on how much more u could see at night. I feel safer driving at night with them also. After having bought my TL that comes with factory HIDs, i couldnt stand regular halogen lighting anymore and converted all the cars to HIDs.

Dont mistaken the pictures for the excessive glare. In reality, its not glarey much at all. Glare is what blinds oncoming traffic.

Does anyone realize these probably aren't 55w and are false adverts?

You can't draw under 2A at automotive voltages, and still be 55w.
