Default Loud Squeal/Whine (video)

Hello, I have a '91 5.0 LX and it has this extremly annoying squeal. It only does it when it's warm. Also only when it is ideling in neutral or park, or moving slow (brake out). I'v been asking everybody but I get all kinds of different theories. Well yesterday I eleminated a few of them by starting it with the belt off. It still did it. I think it is comming from the belhousing but its the kind of sound that is hard to locate. I recorded a video of it so I could show everybody.

This is driving me crazy! You'll know why once you watch the video. Any ideas?

wow you guys reply quick here.

its an automatic. guess i should have said that. It's done this since day one. We rebuilt the valve body once the stock transmision blew out. the guy who gave me the kit said it was common for AODs to squeal like that and showed me an extra passage on a gasket that was supposed to eleminate it. well it didnt.
I dont think it could be the exhaust. it all redone (flowmaster american thunder, h-pipe, no cats, the headers are new) im thinking a vaccum leak or.... i dont know... something causing a vibration.

Sounds like one of the accessories to me? More so a bad bearing. Take a screwdriver or some long object, put it against one of the accessories, put your ear to it, and listen for the vibrations, its like a ghetto stethescope (sp?)

It's def. sounds like the torque converter. If the noise goes away when you start driving it's the converter. This gives you an excuse to put in a high stall converter.

it is a stall converter, 2500 i think. Will a converter really do that? and is there anyway to fix it, atleast diagnose it without pulling the motor?

I forgot, we ran the car with the stock converter too. then changed it when we rebuilt the tansmision. so i dont think 2 converters would do the same thing.

Think it could be the transmision pump? thats the only thing that didnt change with the tranny.

I have heard of the overdrive units making squealing noise. Just a thought.
