sup..... we were puttin a stereo in a 95 mustang when the person helping my i guess let go or lost a wire n put 2 diff wires together were the headlight switch ended turning the headlights and the stereo on with out the key in the ignition but once i realized that and removed the wired that were on the rong way the head light switch only turned on the rear lights and the front corner lights but not the main headlights......... the stereo is working fine but no headlights so right now we can use the car at night...... oh one more thing the highbeems do turn on with the other switch on the streering wheel and i tried putting a diff bulb in but nothign changes......... if any one has any idea what could be rong and what could be dont to fix it plz let me know ASAP... thanx

sounds like the wire for the low beam headlights is still cut and not connected properly. go back and look for a loose wire in the vicinity of the headlight switch and reconnect it and see if this fixes the problem. next time get another friend who knows what he's doing before you let him help you with electrical work!
