what is the purpose of this mod? i don't really understand

mine is a husky water seporater from home depot lol. it looks like it is made nice. The purpose for this is because i get oil sitting in my TB and it runs out around the throttle blade shaft then gets on my v/c than runs on my header, than smells like ****, then it makes a huge mess. [:@] it makes me mad god damnit. sry lol

i have oil in my TB but not enough to make it smell or leak, its just like a light coat, is that normal?

whats the blade shaft? v/c = vaccum?

i bought the steeda kit witch is really dumb cuz im a home depot manager, and its the exact same husky seperater we sell!!!, the main function for me is it stops oil getting into the combustion chamber, it fills in about a month, but thats probably only about 1 tank fill, my car is a toy.

Lookinforastang, v/c is valve cover. see my problem is i get oil that sits behind the spacer plate than runs back into the tb, then it leaks around the throttle blade shaft and on the my v/c.
