out of experience which intake do you think is the best out of the following.

i was going to go with edelbrock the regular one, but this guy i ran into had a 93 cobra 347 stroker, and he said he will vouch that the gt-40 outflows the holley and edelbrock.

im gonna pick holley cause i have one. and i dont know which of the edelbrocks youre talking about. the victor 5.0 is a good intake for racing. it loves nitrous too. i dont really care for the other edelbrocks though. the holley systemax is good. the guy who i bought it from had a super charger on it and he said the holley was probably the best intake for forced induction. what are your goals for your engine? are you going to have a mildly modded daily driver or a full out strip car? and are you going to run it naturally aspirated or go with a s/c, turbo, or nitrous? thats whats going to determine which intake you should get, along with a lot of other engine parts

mildly modified, im thinking maybe 3.55, headers, boring out the cylinder heads, roller rockers, gt-40p heads if i can find them, 70mm tb, convert to maf with a ??maf sensor. umm thats about it, i just want around 300 hp, thats it. oh and new intake.

in my experience owning 3 of the ones up there, the gt40 was the best all around, although not the highest hp, id did have the best torque.

what u mean not the most hp, but best tq, wouldnt it beat the other ones in everything hp & tq?

GT40 for that setup... Holley = fi/nos IMO

i personally like trick flow or the new BBK intake, but they come at price...

well, its simple, the peak hp the gt40 made wasnt off by about 6 from edelbrok and trickflow, but it made almost 10ftlbs of peak torque, and made atleast 3lbs more across the range.
