Default beeping noise

okay posted this question before. said something in the first line that wasn't the issue but the topic was moved anyway.

My 1991 Mustang GT beeps after starting from the dash behind the CD player(just mentioning to reference where noise comes from please don't move). It beeps several times stops for a second and beeps seveal more times. Eventually it stops but last time I started her up it went on for about a minute o two. Someone suggested it needed the airbags checked and another said it was the black box. So who is right??

My wifes 90 does the same thing. Been all up in the dash and can't find it. ( pissing me off!!!) I don't think it's air bag related.
