new starters are a pain in the *** to put in 5.0's, heres a forums to tell your sucky starter install story

Ditto.... One hour from start to finish including wiring chage for the late mini-starter "conversion"...... You must have tight fitting "four into one" long tubes or turbo piping issues :lol:

One of the biggest pains in the ***. I have Flowtech Long Tube Headers and I need to unbolt the motor mounts, and pull the passenger side motor mount. Then I need to jack the motor up and unbolt the header from the head and the h pipe. Then I have to unbolt the starter, wire and pull it out through the top. It took me 2 1/2 hours, just to get the damn thing out. I'm going for a mini starter, so I dont have to take off the header anymore.
