Yeah, the camaros look like geo storms and the firebirds look like probes. They weigh more and are much more exspensive to mod. I have a friend with a 94 LT1 and the similar mods we do, he spends more on everything.
Also, you're comparing apples to hand grenades with the fox and ls1 f-body. The ls1 is what a 3rd gen motor and the 302 is a 1960s based engine. And the LS1 doesn't have 345HP stock, either, sorry. Also the suspension designs are totally different also. Again age difference and design comes to play. Either way the fox can be upgraded and you'd still be in less debt doing so. Just my 2 cents.

the 03 cobra would rape a ws6.
and then you're comparing 3 year old technology to 15 year old technology. of cuorse the ws6 is better than a 5.0 look at all the computer programming and tuning that went into it.
and while the ws6 may be easier to get to 11's, its going to be more expensive. mustangs are a lot less expensive to build than a ws6, thats why so many drag racers have them.
but whatever floats your boat. i like the ws6s...but my 331 is going to eat LS1s alive.

Yea maybe a stock one, realistly though a 331 is a nice engine but always remember that is someone faster, and it might just be an LS1
