so the other day i was board so i pulled the pipes off my car so now its dumping out at the muffler. it sounds bad *** but my uncle was saying that it could burn up a head gaskit or something. is there anything i need to worry about?

My 92 Gt had dumps on it and didn't have any problems with it. I had some cheap mufflers on it too. I use to live next to these girls that got up early to go to school. We got up about the same time. After the mufflers were made into dumps I became there alarm clock. Which I was thanked because they always got up late.

The only way you could do any damage was if you pulled everything off, including the exhaust manifolds/headers. Then the only problem you could run into is to "burn" a valve. An old Harley Davidson saying is "loud pipes, save lives"
