It will take a set of jack stands and a jack. Will be about a hour or so. You just need to remove you sway bar and then the lower bolt and lower it with the jack , remove the spring(pay attention to how it is intsalled), then front bolt(you may have to lower you exhaust to get at it. Pretty easy to do.

youll need two sets of jack stands. one set to hold the back of the body up and another set to hold the rear axle up

You can get by just letting it hang from the shocks and doing one side at a time, but to each their own.

So, you are saying you have never lifted a car from the frame rails or put it on a lift before?? Sorry to say, but the shocks and struts are what keep them from dropping all the way....correct me if I am wrong please

yup, fraid so^ you can do one side at a time though with 2 jack stands, or if you trust the jack, just one stand will work. my jack has a builtin stop so its like both. but yea, when you unbolt that shock itll come down and you better have a jack under it to catch it or the spring will go flying into the unknown.
