Default piston rod clearance ok?

I'm assembling a stock 302 and as I was checking the rod clearances I found that one set had a clearance of .026 between the rod and the side of the crank journal. It is supposed to be in the range of .014-.023. Can some experienced engine builders please tell me if they think this would be acceptable? What problems might arise if I leave it the way it is? The rods are not worn, the problem is with the journal width on the crank. I bought the crank used but from a very reliable machine shop, so maybe they thought it was o.k.

Default RE: piston rod clearance ok?

certainly too wide for me, can result in lost oil pressure, whoever cut the crank was sleeping at the wheel that day.
