Default which gears?

hi guys my cuz would like to know what would be the best gears for his new 89 lx hatch 302?
either 4.10, 3.73, what else he and i are new to the stang scene but i have loved them for years now.

5spd or auto?

Plans for supercharger/turbocharger?

What are your plans for the car?

Do you do alot of highway driving?

Street car? strip car? street/strip car?

Any other mods? etc.

he is doing a 331 stroker in this car soon within the next year!
he does a lil highway it will be street/stip car soo
oh yeah 5 speed

he is lookin for about 500-650hp with 125 dry shot after the 331 stroker

You're only going to see about an increase of about 200 RPM's in the 4.10's. I have 3.73's and wish that I would have went 4.10's.

Well, I wouldnt say 650 but 500 is a possibility.

Also, I would probably go w/ 3.73's.

Well, you also do not have a 331 stroker w/ a 100 shot on it.
