Ok they are easy to install yourself, if you can take the old one off you can put that one back on............You have to drop the tranny though. As for lock up its the final gear in your AOD it makes the tranny run 1:1 with the engine for better economy on the highway, if you drive this car lots its recomended to get a lock Up converter........if its a track car go with the non locking. PS your stock tranny is a lock up

They're going to quote you the same price that they would quote me $495.00. That is, if you are going to get the street edge. That's the one that they are probably going to reccomend. I'm ordering mine next week!!!! I can't wait.

Why wont alot of aftermarket trannies work with lockup converters? For Ex: I was looking at the Lentech Street Bruiser AOD and Lentech said it wouldnt work with a lockup..... when you say a lockup is more beneficial on the street (gas wise). Are we talking like loosing 1mpg if you go with a non lockup or are we talking lossing 5mpg, etc.?

remember, the engines torque output is going to be a deciding factor in stall speed
