how can i gain HP or lower et's?
I have an 88 5.0 turned 4brl 650 holley with a roller cam, headers, true duals. Im stuffing this into an 80 pinto for a street/strip weapon. i want to know the best way to either gain hp or gain a lower ET with some tricks or parts that could help cause. I started thinking about spraying the motor but i dont want a catastrophe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go with a top shot kit or a sniper kit. the top shot will be the easiest to use and hide (it also keeps the carb hight down as you need all the room you can get. the sniper is cheap to get and works good.
personally i would get a good set of heads. you could make 400hp at the crank with heads with your combo. thats about 5-10 more than the nitrous will get you. it also costs more but the power is always there. i wont cost you $120 (or more) a weekend everytime you go to the track. (you should see 6-8 passes with 125hp jets on a full 10# bottle) firgure refills being between $2.50-$4.00 a pound ( $25-$40 per bottle *ive seen $8 a pound at the track*).
unless you dont get many runs you will need a spare bottle or hope someone is at the track with a fill station. up here you get 6-7 runs a day fri-sat, and sunday is 1 warmup and than its for real with 5-6 runs to make the finals in the more common real street classes like that car would be in, i seen 3 bottles for every weekend i was down there in my s10. i figure 3 bracket weekends and 2 event weekends and that nitrous and heads would cost the same. the heads would make a little more power and you wouldnt have a slow nitrous car.
