Im looking 2 buy heads and a cam for my 88 5.0 supercharged with a gt 40 intake maf bbk equal length headers bbk h pipe and flowmaster exhaust but i wanted some input on what use guys thought were the best heads for the dollar with using what i have and what cam 2 get thats not 2 crazy where i have 2 send the motor out any suggestions would be appreciated

It really depends there are many good heads out there. You can go with a set of TW's, 165's, 185's, etc. BUT I would recommend that you swap that manfiold for something like a track heat. Or a nice setup would be 165's with a street heat (gt-40 is prob about the same though).

Yes, they are a decent head. But, for a couple hundred more, you can get what is probably the best head out there, AFRs. To me, it's a nobrainer.

AFR 165's with a custom comp cam.... call them with your setup and they'll grind one or you. Get your GT-40 intake ported and polished....

wouldnt 185s be better considering hes supercharged?
