C&L Vortech MAF question... ????...
I got a vortech MAF off ebay, its calibrated for 24#ers. I'm still using 19#ers. Can i get a sample tube for 19#ers and use that and be fine ? Isnt the vortech the same as a C&L too ?
I dotn wanna use the stock maff cuz its small, and this one is a 73mm, so that'd open it up alot.

Yup. Just get the sampling tube for 19lb'ers.

^+1, but why dont you upgrade your injectors tp 24#, thats like two steps forward instead of 1 step backwards... jmo you'll need them in the future if you wanna pull serious boost...

he can't be pulling 10psi of boost with 19lb injectors though, he'd run too lean wouldn't he? or will the computer advance injector duty cycle on its own?

I don't see where the OP said he was running boost?
You can get the sample tube, but first measure the sample tube you have.
I have most of the diameters listed on my website, then you can compare that to the 'calibrations' listed on the C&L site.
It is not uncommon to get the wrong sample tube when you buy a C&L meter used.
Be sure to use the stock MAS.

I'm not runnin boost right now at all. If i do any boost its not gonna be till next year, and i dont ahve the $$ for 24#ers right now. Thats part of the reason this whole build is takin so damn long, is cuz i'm goin broke.
I'll check out your site, and i'll measure what i got too. I measure the inside of the tube inside,right ?

Can i buy sample tubes from a speed shop or somethin ? Cuz i'd like to put this on soon and dont wanna wait for delivery. I can go to summit, but i donno if they ahve sample tubes, I'll check them out

Summit doesnt carry C&L... or accufab, or kirban... which sucks, since my next order for my car is going to be:
Walbro 255 intank
C&L 76mm + tube
Accufab 70mm TB
Kirban (or accufab) Adjustable FPR w/ guage...
Oh well, i'm hoping to find a shop that carries all that stuff...
