TWIN TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER???
Hi all,
I have a 95' GT, and was wondering which what better, a TT or S/C. I like the Twin Screw S/C cuz there is no lag, and self lubricated. I like turbos cuz they can give variable boost, and can reach very high boost pressures! I just dont wanna drill holes on my oil pan for the turbos. So what are your opinions???
I dont have the money now, but I am planing to get the forced induction system before 2009.

I prefer a twin screw or Centrifigal(sp?) because there's no lag.
But eveyone knows turbo's make WAY more power than SC's to deny it is foolish.
I guess it depends on what you're doing with your car....for street....I'd opt for SC. if you're going to the track all the time...I'd go twins with a shot of spray to compensate for the second or so of lag.

technically turbos process high PSI more efficiently... at the 5 PSI range there isn't a big difference

Thats a tuffy. I was thinkin about both myself. But i think if i did anything it would be a single turbo, a fairly small one at that so it would spool up really quick, and maybe even top it off with a shot of n20. But one downside of turbos are, is that they are harder to tune than SCs, keep that in mind. And anything you do to a sn95 is gonna need a good tune, they hate mods.

Turbo all the way, once you feel the power of a turbo you wont hesitate to choose. Turbos make you sh*t your pants when they spool up. lets see about 10hp per psi s/c or about 20-25hp per psi turbo enough said.
