Not necessarily. It depends on how bad it really is. All engines are going to have some amount of blowby..even new engines. But if it gets to high levels, then you can start to see problems. You know you have a blowby problem when your PCV and your oil dipstick keeps popping out

A compression check will let you know where you stand.

yea the PVC valve has popped out before when my car was boosting....it hasnt done that except for one time tho...but im assumeing my rings are messsed up...the car has a lot of miles on it 230K and still runs a 14.4 naturally asperated. haha

i already have another motor, a 302 bored with JE pistons with E cam...im getting AFR heads and fully building that...but i need this motor to last while i save money and go to school at the same time

as long as its running good i wouldn't be too worried about white smoke unless its doing in constantly.. not just when you hammer down on it. Do the compression test. How old is your engine? just be a little easier on it
