Default cables?

how do i know when the quadrant cable is snapped? and sometimes my '91 gt wont go into gear, what could this be?

If your clutch cable is snapped your car would keep moving when you push the clutch in.
If you dont have an aluminum quadrant and adjustable cable get one. Your clutch may not be releasing enough to shift into gear.

if the cable snaps it will have no tension it will most likely be sitting on the floor but you would be able to move the pedal up and own with your hand freely

i had a motor mount and a tranny mount break on me on opposite sides and it was hard to get in 4th and 5th gear... thought my tranny was junk but it was just the way it was sitting in the car.

when i press the clutch it pops down. before when i was driving it was sometimes hard to put in gear. i would have to lift the clutch up sometimes too
