Are we talking 100% stock under the hood and all-motor or can we use something like N2O? I suppose with a good 31-spline rear end, some weight taken off the front, a goot set of slicks, a good clutch, and some really good suspension work it may work off a hard launch with a stock 302.

Can we cheat and use a stock Cobra R for the 351?

pulling the front tires depends HEAVILY on the suspension. a while back there was a guy w/ a BONE STOCK longblock, pi gt pulling the front tires by several inches. all the mods were suspension.

idk, just saw a few ppl post saying that they did or seen it done, w. stock GTs... just was curious...

i plan to do upper/lower control arms, 90/10s up front, 50/50s in the back, steeda drag springs, and DRs, 308 rear(have it now), but possibly a 3.73. stock motor... didnt think it would pull wheels at all but those few posts got me thinkin... which is why i wonder what the ppl that did do it did it with...

There is a guy on here with a pic in his sig of him pulling the front wheels on a stock motor with nitrous. He has a lot of suspension, and a torque converter(i think). I believe he ran like an 11.88? he is around somewhere

I think your talking about RSW. He has light power mods (exhaust, etc.) with a built suspension, 4.10's, and a built auto trans. He ran 12.8's on motor and 11.7 or 11.8 on spray. And yes he does lift the front tires a few inches.

I have heard of it being done. With a full tubular suspension and some deleted accessories its possible with the right suspension.
