Hey everyone, I just joined this forum and i was looking for some advice and guidance.
I am running a 95 gt with a automatic tranny and it is my daily driver.
I wanna know what size cam i should run. I want it as aggresive as i can get it but still drive it around town.
Any help, advice and knowledge would greatly be appreciated. Thanks guys

well if your engine is like mine. just a 5.0 302 HO i am running a .512 lift cam and it works great.. i dont have much for power brakes but it works good. i got it off of ebay for 115$ it was a custom regrounded one. but yeah i like it.

thanks for the info, Would you recomend getting a vacum booster of some sort with a high lift cam?

actually i have one of those. the crane cams from jegs for like 60$ and it isnt much better. i just use both feet to stop and it seems fine for me. but i think the can was a waste.

You're going to want to get gears anda stall first, don't spend your money on a cam yet. Get gears and a stall.

Lol, that works too! That sucks that the vacum can was a waste, i was hoping that would save my power brakes. lol
What brand is ur cam?

94-95 cars hate cams ........ anything bigger than an E cam will really freak it out . Actually , your best best is to leave the cam stock and just upgrade the heads and intake . You might want to add some 1.7's to add some lift on the stock cam .

I was interested in the E 303, U think that is to much for it? The guy i bought the car from has a true Cobra intake, cobra computer and throttle body. He wants $500 for it, do u think this is a good deal? What about a 75 hp shot of nos?

how sure are you he doesnt have the cobra cam in then which i believe is the e already, also are you 100 percent on the computer cuz if so you should have 24 lb injectors too for that thing to be running right and you didnt mention if that was in it is all. Either way id still get heads before cam, it will do a lot more for ya.

my bad i need to learn to read better, but ya you need 24lb injectors if you get the computer.
