yeah the bearings were all messed up and i just replaced them. i still havent test drove it because i have to bleed the brakes but there is no movement in the rotor anymore.
you didnt over-tighten the bearings.. did you?

keep in mind that after a few miles.. 20-30, you may have to re-tighten the wheel bearings

usually, when I install wheel bearings, i sit them in a tight as i can by hand (with a socket), then give them a 1/4 turn with a ratchet. then check for any play in them, if there is still play, you tighten more, I go about a 1/4 turn at a time. when the play is gone i take it for a ride... put a few miles on them and then go back and re-check them.

i just tightened them with a pair of plyers. after i test it i'll see if they need to be retightened

thats about all you have to do.. just make sure there is no play in them
