TOTALED??? what to do
ok so as alot of you know my car was wrecked last night, i'm pretty sure the insurance company is going to total it since the frame is more than likely bent... so what would u guys accept for a $ amount from the insurance company? the car just got a full exterior reworking about a month ago (cost about 5-6 grand), if the frame is messed up i'll buy it back and part it out and use the money for a bike (maybe).....
what you guys thing i should accept from the insurance and do with the car?

blue book is only 3500$ on it... and my insurance agent has a 90% total rate on cars that are over 4 years old with a bent frame...
if they do total it i don't think that i'm going to accept less that 7 for it

regular car insurance doesn't pay what YOU think it's worth. aftermarket modifications lower the value of a vehicle. the only way you will get 7k for the car is if you have hagerty or some other company that allows you to determine how much the value of the car is, and your premium payments reflect it.

i had the car appraised right after it was finished, so i'm pretty sure theyhave to pay that (not possative) and as the car sits now it's stock minus the exhaust and a few interior things

it would be cool if everyone could give you a dollar to help you out....kinda like feed the starving children in africa but instead it would be help 94gtcoupe buy a life time supply of condoms so he doesnt have children....since this whole story was your fault. think how your insurance company would feel if they found that picture of you speeding while taking a picture of your street racing tickets! But hey I feel bad for you, i would donate a dollar if such a fund raiser existed and I wouldnt care what you spent it on. but damn dude you want a bike?
