Yes....but he needs to make sure #1 is @compression to install the dizzy pointing to #1.......

apparently you dont read
any time the piston reaches the highest point in the cylider .. its at TDC top dead center... it has nothing to do with the valves
rotate the motor and align the crank marker to 0... if you have a valve cover off, make sore one of the valves is open

I have fixed the dizzy and now I need to put it back in.

TY, positive it is the compression stroke?
Anyone know what size socket the crank shaft is? I dont have one that size. All mine are too big or too small. So I am going to have to go and get one. [>:]
