i started to take my engine apart tonight for what i thought was a re- ring job. to my surprise/dismay, was a .060 block with std. pistons. i bought this long block from southern kentucky engine exchange for 900 bones supposed to have .030 flat tops and comp 280 cam.i believe i got shafted.

heres a pic of my hand made turbo y pipe and 40mm pit wastegate


my diesel turbo which specs out at 60mm pushing 12psi easy

hand made flanges to connect turbo, also used a sheet of high temp gasket material and red silicone to make some gaskets


everything nice and tidy till i sell or reuse. the valve covers and performer rpm air gap intake (plated) will be sold and different ones bought. i will keep everyone posted on my rebuild.

Pics? That sucks about your engine. I didnt even think you could use std pistons with a .60 overbore. Were there just bigger rings or what?
