Have you pulled any plugs to see what they look like. You should have put an afpr on it while you had it apart or did you?

The plugs look good, i relly wanted to put an AFPR on it, but was running really low on funds

Sounds like you covered all the bases. Bite the bullit and get the tune and an afpr. Modding ain't cheap, that's for sure!![:@]

I guess thats the next step, its just wierd that mine has this problem. plenty of people do hci swaps without a tune, and dont have this problem, right?

Calibrate, run the KOEO self-test, confirm calibration, check for vacuum leaks, run the KOER self-test, how's the engine vacuum reading doing?.....need to get the information that will help you fix it, unless you have a Z-cam or +15° overlap @.050" cam.....it's fixable.....or pay for a tune.

What do you mean calibrate? How do you want me to check engine vacuum?
