Default 95 COBRA OWNERS WHO REPLACED IAC

My car has been idling erratic. Surging up slightly to about 1300, then dropping down to 600. It died the other day when i came to a stop but started right back. Then it died again when i tried to start it it started fine but died immediately again and again. As long as i rev it up when starting it will hold an idle for awhile. I was thinking the IAC does this seem right?

All I did was cut out a gasket without the holes. So pretty much make a gasket to plug up your IAC. It should only take you about ten minutes. You still want to eventually geta new one though.

Idle Air Control.

It controls your airflow at Idle.

You only really need it on cold days. I live in orange county so it runs better without it here.
