Default Rear End

What would be the best way to upgrade my rear on my fox? after this resto im not really gonna have enough $$ to do a 5 lug conversion but im deffinatly doing disk brakes. as for the axel i want to get somethin like a detroit locker and 3.73 gears min. what kinda money am i looking at and how should i do it? i got a 7.5" now and i want an 8.8 or 9" cause im gonna have a 351 and hopefully lots of power. should i get a currie crate rear end, junkyard 8.8" and put in the gears and locker myself or what? thanks

31 spline axles and diff.If you have the ability, rebuild it your self or have a shop do it. Stick with the 8.8, 9 inch is expensive. If you're looking for a good company that makes nice rear end components, check out Strange Engineering.
