All I can really think of would be to check the whole system (including lines) for leaks. Check the banjo bolts to make sure they aren't messed up, and just give everything a good checking over. Probably wouldnt hurt to give the valves a good looking over either. It could be something as simple as a twisted or kinked line.

I'm telling you try swapping those steel lines for rubber lines. Also on the calipers there are little copper rings where the brake line meets, one that goes on each side of the line. If those weren't put on you could have air getting sucked into the system there. I don't think its your brake booster, that won't cause the pedal to go soft when the car isn't running and when its bad it causes a very hard pedal.

RE: ***** BRAKES!
when I did my SVO calip[ers and rear disk coversion, I had to bleed the air out of the lines around 10 times, and on 2 days before the pedal was good.
start on the furthest line from the master cylinder and work your way to the closest one.
just curious, how did you bleed the brakes?
edit: spelling error

RE: ***** BRAKES!
try it without the pump, get your buddy to pump the brakes till thepedal is stiff, and then have him hold it down while you open the bleeder screw, when the fluid stops coming out close the bleeder and repeat, do it like 5-6 times before going on to the next one.
I bet the pump your using is letting air back in the system
and did you check for leaks with the brakes applied?

RE: ***** BRAKES!
there might be some junk in the lines blocking the fluid, thats the only other thing I can think of
and a 93 cobra master cylinder is made for rear disk brakes, get a stocker in there, or some disk brakes, that MC will put out too much pressure for drum brakes
