Default tps adjustment

on my 88 all i did was set it at .98.....

some reason on this 91 it seems to be different? is this true?

It does not matter where you set it.
The EEC-IV does not care, as long as it is within about .8v to 1.2v.

It makes no difference where the tps is set at idle.

I don't know of a technical reason why, but my car was noticably better at .99 volts. It actually fixed my cold start problems with the car cutting off.

Based on how the EEC uses the tps, there is no reason why .99v would be better than 1.05v or .94v.
The computer would never know the difference.

The tpscan't affect idle quality, and is only read at cold start. It isn't used at cold start.

Where was your tps before you changed to .99v?

I will have to look up the 'acceptable range' that the computer accepts.
I don't remember the exact values...
