I just got mine from e-bay last week. I've not got them in yet, i am going to order UPR u/l control arms with my bonus this week(hopefully)( those and 4-wheeler exhaust), going to put them in at the same time. Mine were $104 shipped.

You dont need to weld those in. They will be more than enough protection bolted in. Of course welding them in would help. The welding idea is really for when you dont use an aftermarket battlebox type strengthener. You just weld up all the seems of your torque boxes, frame and body. That is the route I took for my mustangand I have no problem beating on it. Almost forgot... While you have the mig out, its a good idea to put a bead around your axle tubes where they connect to the diff housing
im pretty sure its a tig welder not a mig welder... does it have to be a mig welder??
Well I suppose you could tig weld it but I think it would be a royal pain to weld on the underside of the car like that.

I would opt for the MIG.

Those ones look good. They are all really the same...no changing them, so IMO, the cheaper the better. I got mine off ebay..no namers and I was happy.
They look just like the UPR's. Good price too!!

I just had these installed in my car. The guy that welded them in said they were pretty good but he had to modify them a little to get them perfect.
I havent really driven the car since the install due to the ice and snow we've gotten since then.

I thought so too. You don't always have to get the name brand stuff to work well. Go fast and get there cheap is the best way to go.
