Just got back from the track.
First time since I had my DRs and 3.73s.
Best run:
1/4: 14.830
MPH: 94.14
60': 2.271
R/T: .821
Needless to say, I was having traction issues at launch, I was spinning enough to add .5 seconds to my ET. However, though that was my best 1/4, my best:
60': 2.142
R/T: .375
^^that run would have been easily a few tenths faster but I missed fourth gear
. Anyway, I've got some practice ahead of me. I didn't think my car would spin the DRs at launch but it sure as hell does. Can't wait to get more time in. I know my car is capable of more. This is HELLA faster than my previous 15.7 though

Hack - I said that I have lots of room for improvement!!
Yeah, I got mickeys. I wasn't smoking them...I would burn them from the pit until the staging lines. Should I have stopped and put them up in smoke? I was holding the engine ~3,000rpm, feather it out, gun it...and they would spin.
I am also sad to report that Zach's '87 got a battle wound today. The shifter bolts completely ripped out of the trans and stripped the threads out of the trans. We had to go to Lowes and get some new bolts to temporarily fix it.

Were you at Capitol? If so I was there also. My car is stock except for mangaflow Cat-back and some 17' Wheels and tires. My ride is a 94 GT. White with 96k on the clock.

Is your rear not spinning both tires? That could cause bad 60 fts... Also with DR's with mickeys you better be running around 15psi give or take a couple... Any you really need to burn them good... When i first ran with DR's I didnt heat them up enuff and tried dumpingthe clutch and slipping it both were ****ty 60's. Practice makes perfect

Craig: Yup. I just wasn't heating up the tires enough...wish I could go back and do that.
