are the cheap cold air intakes on ebay any good?

I bought one(Cheap EBAY intake)for my 4.7 dakota, hp was up a little, but the gas mileage went down about 2mpg from the heat under the hood. took it out, put stock box back in and back to 23 mpg's, but definitly notice the loss of throttle responce.
spend ur money on an "in the fender kit" and you will not regret it!!!!!! if you do, post it on here and someone here will buy it for sure

ummm thats what a cold air intake is... and to answer the original question, a CAI is a CAI, they are all the same u just pay for the name on the other ones. mine fit fine when i test fitted it, never got around to installing it after i painted it

ok just by one of them and use it..............the smart *** with the comment about that is what a cai is.......well you are obviosly not too smart......good luck with that,i put a bbk in the fender cai on all of the stangs ive had with great perfomance improvement......you get what you pay for budy
