is it worth 450 to port and polish stock heads?... and is it worth 180 for a valve job?

for those prices not really. on this site u shouldnt give advice if u dont have experience but with this one i do, ported stock heads will work well with other mods, if u put a pretty decent sized cam and intake to match u will c a big gain in hp, but not for those prices, I would search around more or find someone who knows how to do it on the side for cheaper.

You should be able to find a decent set of used performance heads for that much money if you look around.

I really wouldnt put that much into stock iron heads.
