Dont forget it has to be at tdc on the compression stroke! And you will have to rotate the rotor counter clock wise from the #1 wire when you drop it in. As you drop it in it will spin twords the#1 on the cap because of the cut on the gear.

No, no timing light. But fella helpin me out prolly does...
So a good way to tell if its on the compression stroke is to take out the spark plug on cyl. 1 and wait for damper to hit 0 when air starts comin out ?

Aight, i'll keep it in mind. I have a haynes manual at my car, iw as just tryin to get a basic idea of it, i'll refer to the manual as i do ti too. Thanks fellas.

Ya that would get you close enough. To make it easier to turn over you can pull all the plugs out, but it can be done either way. You can also look down inside the cylinder and watch it come up and then check your mark!

I'll keep everything in mind, and refer to the hayness also. Thanks fellas. Ima try and start her up sometime this week, i'll be sure to get a vid clip of it. Hasnt been started in over a year......
