Default clutch adjustment?

does anyone know how to adjust the clutch on a 92 gt? is there an adjustment at all? the clutch has to be pushed all the way to the floor to get into gear...

some clutch quadrents are adjustable. Don't press down on it all the way but just kinda push down a little bit and slide it sidewayz. Then slide your foot off.

I think you pull the pedal up by hand all the way and then press the pedal back down to adjust it.

That works on the stock quadrant. If it's an aftermarket quad and cable, the cable end under the car is threaded. There are two nuts, move them towards the front of the car. Make sure that the jam nut is tight or you will loose adjustment.

i tried pulling up the clutch pedal and pressing it all the way down but it didn't seem to help. do you think i need a new clutch?

Dont assume that yet!
Do you have a stcok clutch and cable?-if so then that the prob. and like sadi above, pull the pedal up as hard as you can-then push it all the way to the floor- if you hear a click it adjusted-which only works on stock quadrant
