Default Buying parts for my setup. NEED HELP!!!

My current mods are in my sig. I have around 4k to play with, but want to keep it under incase something breaks.... here was what i was thinking(almost everything I am going to buy will be used)
Also, I have an autometer fuel press/oil press/ and water temp gauges.. and a bbk adj fuel press regulator

-MAF + injectors(what size injectors do I need??
-gt40p heads w/ roller rockers(not sure if I should get 1.7 or 1.6 rr's??)
-e303 cam w/ lifters
-springs and retainers(not sure which ones to buy??)
-cobra manifold
-fuel pump(what size??)
-tweecer or some other tuner(any other suggestions??)
-MSD 6a box(maybe 6al)

I figured the total of the parts above would be around $1800(almost all will be used)

Where should I spend the rest???

I was thinking about getting a vortech or powerdyne supercharger to finish it off, but I'm not sure if I can find one within my budget(used). OR I was thinking of buying a nitrous kit. If so, what size shot could I run safely with a good tune??

crane fireball > msd 6al.... trust me i have the 6al, i wish i had the crane system - they are the same price btw

springs and retainers should be based off what the cam calls for. shouldnt there be info with the cam stating what seat pressure and open pressure is required? dont want too much or you'll wear stuff out, dont want too little or you'll float valves. also coil bind and guide/valve seal to retainer clearance needs to be verified. if you use 1.7 rockers your just increasing lift, if i remember correctly the ford grinds are single pattern so maybe its wise to use 1.6's on the intake and 1.7's on the exhaust

food for thought.... but definately look into the crane ignition

thanks

I am not real familiar with domestics so I am really kind of clueless when it comes to knowing what exactly to buy.

I was thinking 1.6 rr's. Arent the cobras 1.6 rr's??

Am I leaving anything out?? I want my car to be putting down over 350rwhp. I prefer a turbo kit, BUT I can't afford it soI will go with a nitrous kit and run a 100shot or find a good s/c kit.

One thing i noticed is that you want GT40P heads. If you get the P heads then your going to need to get new headers. Do NOT buy a powerdyne supercharger, theyr crap. Id go Vortec or a Novi 1000, shop around and you can find used ones relatively cheap. Id send the intake and heads to thumper and have them ported with the extra money, forget the S/C and run a 125 shot of NX. You should still have a few hundred left for things you forget ( i learned to budget for this cuz i always forget something). Good Luck

real quick

$2250 trick flow kit from late model resto which includers
twisted wedge aluminum heads
1.6 roller rockers
trick flow street intake upper and lower and valve covers in black or silver
double roller timing chain
trick flow stage 1 cam with push rods and gaskets, may include other stuff

250 for 24 pound injectors
200 for 75-77 mass air
275 msd distributer
200 msd 6al box
100 255 or 190 lph fuel pump

I think I will have the intake and heads sent to thumper for porting. And get a custom cam for nitrous.

Nitrous is a cheap solution. I will get a s/c later on down the road along with a fully built motor, but that will be in 2 years or so.

I think thumper has his own heads he sells on his site. Like $1000 and it comes with everything I need(cam included). I think that and with the rest of everything I can touch low 12's.

really why in the hell do you even need the nos? get out of your rice thinking and spend that money on go-fast parts that are always giving you HP, not something that gives you HP for a few seconds at a time.
