Default Clutch (Hard Shifting)

I drove the Mustang yesterday (really nice day!). I noticed that the more I drove it, it became harder to shift as I got closer to home. I could feel the heat coming up from the transmission. It seems as it gets hotter, it gets harder to shift. I plan to replace my cableas I had an issue with my clutch the other day and it seems that the cable is loose. Could my syncrhros (sp) be going?

I agree with 94gtcoupe, my fluid was old and the hotter it got the harder it was to shift... Btw, listen to 94gtcoupe, he is the unofficial, official t-5 trans guy around here, he knows what he's talking about.

They just have not given you the official stamp, like adder and pro have, you need one too. One that says you are the transmission guy. no joke man.

What fluid do I need and how hard is it to replace?

i use syncromesh in my tranny and it's nice and smooth, mobil 1 synthetic is nice, and i have heard that bg syncroshift is nice to (mitsubishy dealer only)

u can use any ATF (automatic tranny fluid) that u wish but i suggest synthetic, and you'll have to fill it from the shifter housing from inside the car, or get some kind of a syphon pump and pump it into the fill hole they take 2.5-2.75 qts. BTW
