Help a lady with a possibly STUPID question??
This may seem a stupid question to those of you who know alot about Mustangs, however, here goes. I bought a 1993 Ford Mustang Convertible a year or so ago. I am looking to start purchasing all the interior to start to restore. I ordered a CarFax report which calls it a 1993 Ford Mustang GT/Cobra GT. Now the restoration guys are telling me there is no such thing. Any help?

My guess would be that its a Canadian car. They were the same as the regular GT's but they called them GT Cobra's and some havea "Cobra" decal on the driver side rear of the car on the hatch above the tailight. Anyway, if you are looking for some interior parts.... check out the link in my sig. Lots of interior pieces.

They had a 93 cobra in the US as well it had the same engine as the 94-95 cobra's what does it say in the top of your intake manifold (top of your engine) cobra or 5.0 high output?

I thought all 93 GT's carfax reports showed "Mustang GT/Cobra GT"..... I have a 93 GT and I know it's not a Canadian car and it still shows that on my carfax.

It might say that on the carfax... I have to check mine when I get home. Anyway, the GT Cobra's in Canada are regular GT's with a decal on them. They still may have produced REAL cobra's but the "GT" Cobra's were just GT's.
