Whats the correct tooth speedo gear.
I have looked at a few sites and they have several different colors and teeth amounts for what I am looking at. Here is what I have. 3.73 gear, 140 mph speedo, 5 speed tranny.

your car SHOULD have the 7 tooth drive gear, so yes, a 21 tooth gear would be correct IF you have the 7T drive gear... take a flashlight and peek inside our trans. the gear inside should be yellow. If it is... the 21t driven gear for the VSS is what you need!

adder's right again....the 23 tooth gear is a jeep part crammed ina ford tranny....ove a little time, it will eat up the drive gear, then you have to redo it all.....get the 21 tooth and do it right the first time.....
