I love how nobody in this thread has any clue..... 764 plugs are from GT-40 heads...

take a look on the passenger side of the car.... the lower right hand corner of the heads.... See if it says GT or GTP

Thats a stock maf number. if it's stock then it is calibrated for 19lber injectors. take it off and see if it has a c&l sampling tube in it. if it doesnt that is youre problem.

well i took off my MAF and put my bros 70mm on there and it did not really seem to do all that much, no change in idle. if i changed the MAF to diff. one or bigger would i have to get the car adjusted or tuned....seems tuning it would be a bit extreeme.

the plugs that fit into the heads are smaller than the ones for the stock block. they guy at auto zone said his buddy runs autolites in his trickflow twisted wedge. FYI

gt 40 heads would make sense since the car has gt 40 upper and lower intake, i just thought they would be aluminum looking. but ill go look right now for the number on the heads.

well damn. like i said before, almost everytime i pop the hood i find something new.....even after a year of tinkering.

on the passenger side of the heads it says GT. the heads must be old because they are far from new looking.

so the 55mm(i think thats the size. i looked it up and it sayed that the part number above was a stock MAF) needs to be replaced to larger one??

so you got gt-40 heads. nice. you should defantily be able to smoke youre buddy. anyways, it's not that youre maf is too small. the problem is that your maf is calibrated for 19lb injectors and you have 24lb injectors.

the CAI you have... is it a C&L system? If it ISNT... you might have a chip in your car. Heres what you do. take a look at your intake/MAF setup and see if it looks like this


If your MAF does NOT look like that, you need to check your ECM.
Look to see what the 3 digit code is on the ECM and also see if there is a chip stuck into the J3 service port.

when i got the car i tinkered with everything to find out what all was done with it (to the best of my knowledge) i saw that, under the kick panel, was a grey box that said mustang performance.... i did serches on it but came up with nothing. what do you know about mustang performance electricle shiz??

i dont really get what you mean in your post either.
