Default what size TB and injectors?

motor specs:
-408w with 4340 forged flattop pistons/crank/rods & ARP hardware
-Canfield 195's
-Custom Grind street/strip cam
-TF intake manifold

what size TB and injectors do i need?

ummm....carb would be you're only real option unless you're running an aftermarket FI system...then you'd likely have the ask the FI supplier.

I'm sure you would need to use an aftermarket FI system..I may be incorrect but in assuming he's using aftermarket then as stated I would inquire with the supplier as to components that would best suit your needs....standard mustang parts just won't apply to the 351.

dude if you have the knowledge to build a freaking 408 with good heads and a custom grind you should be able to have a good idea where to start.

what do you think this motor will need?

Depends on the intake and how aggressive the overall combo is. I'd probably run a 75-90mm.

I would think at a bare minimum you would need an 80mm TB and 30lb injectors.

30# injectors would be a bit small... i'd start at 36#

If you use someone like Jay Allen for just a hyd. roller cam, even on pump gas, I don't think it will be too difficult to get 450+rwhp out of this combo. I'd probably go right for a 42lb injector N/A.

In fact, some people are going to flip out when I use a 42lb injector on my N/A 10.5:1 347.
